Bashing America

May 14, 2007 / by sherry

Checking out some new blogs today and came across people who I feel lack the love and trust of their own country that they have to put the blame for everything on America. In doing so they start the blog in English and continue in their own language. The only thing I understand is the thumbs up and the laughing faces in which you know are nasty replies. If you want to bash America please do it in English so we can defend ourselves or shut up. Your the very reason the world is the way it is.

Are they bashing America, or corrupt politicians and policies that are destroying America? My patriotism is almost constantly criticized, but I love this nation and it's diverse people. Many politicians hide behind the facade of patriotism to achieve their own nafarious goals, which is what is happening today. Protecting their parties has become more important than the nation, and stealing their true hidden objective.[SAD]

In America the failed policy makers do not answer the points made by the critic.
They bash the critic with name calling and worse.
GWB delayed in supporting the injured 9/11 rescue workers to adequate medical payments.
He sabotaged the care givers at Walter Reade and forced 'our troops' back into combat when they remained unfit for duty. How patriotic was that?

We owe a debt of gratitude to immigrants. My 4th removed great-grandfather came to the colonies in 1771, emigrating from Ballymena, No. Ireland, joining the American Revolution, advancing from a private to a captain, settling in the Columbus, Ohio area near 1800, and helping to establish the Presbyterian denomination in the area, because, as many of you know, the Presbyterians were severely persecuted in Northern Ireland. God bless America and a big thanks for the courageous immigrants who helped establish this country and religion![THUMBUP]
